Oh, and @Des Gray you'll need a blood glucose monitor, lancet device, and test strips to test when you wake up, and 2 hours after each meal to see what foods you're able to tolerate. This is what's meant by "eat to your meter." I chose my second meter based on which one used the cheapest test strips I could find. Doing so is saving me lots of money.
