Found Dr Bernstein's book when I was researching the subject on the net a few weeks ago, got it from Amazon, and read it from cover to cover within a couple of days.
Seemed to make a lot of sense, so straight onto the low carb regime (30g per day).

if you don't have a meter, get one and then try it! Postprandial testing will help you fine down your control by discovering what you can and can't handle at different times of day
