Newly Diagnosed

Hello All, well i have joined the forum today after a phone call from my GP explaining i now have type 2 Diabetes.
Must have been a bit of a shock - the good news is that a classic type 2 can get back to normal numbers by cutting down the high carb foods, cutting down on the middling ones and indulging in meat, fish, eggs, cheese, yoghurt with some nice veges, mushrooms, berries, salad stuff - and coffee with cream.
It can seem difficult at first, but I'm now approaching 6 years from diagnosis and feel great.
If a low carb diet doesn't have a good outcome then it is likely that there is more to the situation than appeared at first.

I’ve got type 2 on my 8th week very frustrated by it all pretty much went cold Turkey it has been very hard
