Newly diagnosed

Hi all, this is my firs post!

Im 16 and was diagnosed as a type 1 just 2 weeks ago! Just wanted to say that the NHS has been brilliant is suppoerting and treating me so far! Hasnt been a great 2 weeks and have missed all my GCSE exams!

Hi and welcome to the forum. Pity you had to miss your exams. Glad to hear the NHS is doing good stuff. Once they get a clear diagnosis which with a T1 can be fairly conclusive then the support can be excellent. You should find good advice in the T1 and Medication forums. It will take a while to get your insulin and diet in balance so do ask any questions along the way.
