Hi,
I was diagnosed with type 2 9 weeks ago and from then on it went downhill, leg cramps, dry mouth, thirst, no balance, was admitted to hospital on 6th sept with DKA, in critical care for 5 days then onto normal ward, recieved amazing care and support in hospital and enough info to keep me going until I saw diabetic nurse, BG has been below 10 for last 4 days but eyesight still not right but on plus side no more leg cramps and dry mouth, my carbs and cals book is my bible at the moment but have been shown how to carb count.
