Re: Health.io 'ACR' App urine test.

Hi there,
has anyone (without an iPhone) had problems installing this Health.io 'ACR' App on their mobile?

The NHS, via my surgery, asked me to install an App called ACR on my phone that analyzes your urine, in combination with a kit they sent in the post to get a sample.
You get the App free from The App Store and Google Play but both say I need an iPhone. The company is reacting as if this is not normal and telling me I should try to get hold of another phone... what??
Is it just my phone, or are does it only work with an iPhone?

thanks Phil

I don't know if it works but if it is in the Google Playstore it will be an Android app.
Is it this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.healthy.acr.e2e

Hi,
thank you for the reply, yes that's the App, and I have a Android phone, but when I try and open it ( at The App Store and Google Play) I always get a message saying it's not compatible.
Update... so I've been trying to sort this for a while and just as I was writing this reply, I got a message from the company who make it; the App only works with mobiles that have 'auto focus' on their cameras!! Thats crazy, it's a standard smartphone, I scan bar & square codes all the time with this phone - what a was of time!
ho hum, at least I now know and can contact my Surgery to get a test there.
Phil
