NHS Exemption certificate

The GP has to tell the person that they need to get the fill formed it before the receptionist can help with the details. As normal the middle classes are OK as we know the correct questions to ask.....

Take for example Type2 that is complicated, once someone has been given the correct label a trainee GP would be able to provide all the advice etc that is needed provided they spend most of their type on people with Type2. Nurses are not that useful as their training stops them thinking for themselves or learning from us. The hardest part of a GPs job is to choose the correct label for someone from about 1000 options, given only 7 minutes to do it in, and that 99% of people should just go home and drink a lot of water.

Our receptionist is the one who gave me exemption form so I could apply, Is that not normal?
Mind you I'm going back to the 90s. I just reapply/renew. I too got mine for underactive thyroid.

Normally you should get it from your doctor this is how I got mine he co signed the form to confirm I had one of the exempted conditions I signed it and he sent it in I then received my certificate via the post some while later.
