NHS Preventing Type 2 Diabetes service

That’s encouraging to hear. I’ve the double whammy of wonky blood sugars and high cholesterol, told surgery I’d pass on the statins at least until the next blood test when we’ll see what effect lifestyle/diet changes have had.

Hang in there. It’s a long, slow process and it takes willpower and patience to sustain the necessary lifestyle changes.
 
Thanks, slow and steady, that’s me and so far so good weight wise. I’ve lost nearly a stone in two months.
 
I am sure there will be plenty of us interested in here, @geekesse .
We tend to hear from people who haven’t found the NHS courses offered to be of use. So refreshing to have a success story.
