Night Shifts

Hi, I have been put on Lantus and was eventually stabilised using this and other tablets. Since I have started back on night shifts my sugar levels have gone back up and I cant seem to get them down. Any ideas would be welcome I am really struggling.

This is something I've struggled with too due to working variable shifts...I spoke to a guy on here who advised me to test, log, adjust, repeat. Doing this every 2 hours for the past 3 days has drastically improved my sugars. I've ended up having to increase my levemir by 6 units. Keep a diary and you'll see a pattern starting, you can then adjust to stop the spike in your sugars :)

It's all about routine and checking regularly, alter 1-2 units maximum at a time. it's a pain sometimes but will help you get your control back

Good luck!
