Night time horror

Yes, I think that after a long time on Lantus I built up a resistance to it. The nighttime hypos were still a problem even when it was failing to tackle daytime super-highs. Levemir’s much better for me. And Fiasp instead of novoslow.

Before I went on my pump and didn't need slow acting insulin, I was on Lantus for 12 years. It seemed as strong for me at the end as it did at the start.
I regularly adjusted my basal depending on how much exercise I had done in the last 24 or 48 hours. My DSN said it would take a number of days for my body to notice the change. However, my body seemed pretty perceptive and the basal change helped reduce hypos.
I only mention this because it may indicate another reason why I am abnormal and my experience is of no relevance.
