Night time hypo

Just woke up because I had that feeling that something wasn't right checked my levels and I'm 2.8 - two problems with night time hypo
1. Can't control the munches - doesnt help with my diet and weight loss coz I go for everything with high sugar and as a baker there's a lot of them
2 . Although I've been diabetic for 9yrs I find it scary to go back to bed after night time hypos - I just have this fear that its going to come back with a vengeance and since I'm already exhausted I won't be able to wake up and the worse will happen - for 9 yrs I can't sleep after a night time hypo I just stay awake till I can have a nap later on somewhere like the living room coz someone would bs there

I know I'm been paranoid but does anyone ever feel the same way and any advice on what to do

Worst time to have a hypo. I feel half afraid to go back to sleep when it happens so inevitably over treat the hypo and end up ludicrously high on the morning. Since reducing carbs, and consequently reducing insulin, I have not had a night time hypo tg.
