Night time hypos

Hello
I’ve started using the freestyle libre monitor.
It shows you a graph in the morning of what has happened over night.
It appears for a couple of weeks now I’ve been having a significant number of low readings over night- 3.9-2.1’s!!
But- they don’t wake me up!?
I know when it has happened because I’m really tired and lethargic even though I slept through.
I’ve reduced my night time insulin and even popped some jelly babies before bed.
I know you can only rely on a finger prick reading, but if it’s not waking me up then I can’t do it.
Is this some sort of hypo unawareness thingy?
I was diagnosed last year, so fairly new to all this . TIA

HI @Fayesiec_ It's great that your using the libre now, however it's important to avoid night time hypos, so you will need to look at reducing your basal, we don't always wake for them, I only know i've had one when I wake high in the morning and feel like i've been out partying all night. I tend to follow the same routine every night so I eat tea early on say around 7pm so when I test before bedtime at 10.30-11pm I know my quick acting insulin has been used up and if I need to correct a high I can do it before bed and wake up in range.

What basal are you taking and when ?

I had a very similar realization when I started using the libre just before Xmas. Was having night time hypos. Have reduced my Tresiba down to 12 units now (was on 17 before the Libre. I do have a couple of Rich Tea biscuits before bed as well now. Tend to be stable thru the night now.... Thank you Libre :D
