Type 2 Nightime bloods

6.2 is a good level to go to bed on, why do you feel concerned? Just the feeling rough?

You are probably feeling 'false hypos'!

This is when, your blood glucose levels drop sharply and your body is adjusting to the new levels.

This will take a few days, don't worry too much and keep an eye on your bloods.

Just feels like my bloods are much lower

Did you re-test to ensure the 6.2 reading was accurate?

Otherwise, what sort of score would you usually be at this time of night? When were you diagnosed?

They are usually around 7-7.5 diagnosed about six years ago

It's a little lower than usual though, but it isn't "low" in clinical terms. If you're used to running a bit higher, your body can sometimes make things a bit uncomfortable as it's outside it's comfort zone. But, at 6.2 there's no clinical need to do anything. If you feel grotty and don't think you will sleep, then a cup of tea with some milk, or a spoonful or two of something yoghurt would probably be enough for you to feel better after 10 or 15 minutes.
