Type 2 No pancreas

Hello @swampy :)

Your profile states you are type 1, can you change this in your profile settings to save confusion ?

What complications do you have ? Also what medication are you on ?

So you’ve had some, or all, of your pancreas removed and you only just found out? Didn’t they tell you at the time?
Anyway here are a few threads I found by searching “whipple” the op that removes some of the pancreas. They might help a bit or take a look around the type 3 section of the forum. https://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/category/type-3c-pancreatic-diabetes.73/ It might help if you were a bit more specific what you want help with.
Good luck

Hi Swampy,

It may be time to see your GP- armed with the list of the different types of diabetes and ask for my information so that you can find out which type you are. This is important information which you need to manage your health. There are many people on this forum and I'm sure they will help once you have more information.

Good luck- be prepared to be assertive and read up on the types before you go- I don't think the normal GP is as informed about diabetes as we need to be.
