No thermometers!

my first choices would be the local chemist, Amazon or eBay.

are you preparing in case you need one, or has your husband got a fever now?
If it is the second, then I would go straight to the online 111 service and see what is said there, because you both would need to stay isolated for (I think ) 14 days.
