Does it contain fewer carbs, I’ve heard Guiness 0% contains no carbs. Which type has the least amount of sugar. Does anyone consume no alcohol beer as a weekend treat and did it affect HB1AC?

Don’t want to burst your bubble but Guinness 0.0 isn’t carb free, in fact it has more carbs than the alcohol Guinness, carbs in 0.0 is 3.8 per 100 ml which makes it 17g carbs a 440ml can, an ordinary can of Guinness has 2.7g per 100ml.

This link is an American site but will give you an idea of carbs in similar zero beers available here,

sadly most beers both alcohol free and alcoholic contain a lot of carbs, beer is often referred to as “liquid bread” there are some low carb alcoholic beers if you do drink alcohol but I’m not a beer/lager drinker so can’t help you there. There’s a lager called skinny lager that is 3g carb per bottle but that isn’t zero alcohol

Most low/sugar free beers have a much higher alcohol content.I have found over the years it is best to ignore all the so called diabetic foods and drink have the regular ones but only use in moderation. That would be my advice.I have lived with type 1 diagnosed 44 years ago in my late twenties
