Non diabetic high

I am a type 1 diabetic & one of my non diabetic work colleges asked me to test her sugar level (with a spare needle of course!) as she had been feeling rubbish for a while & just wondered what hers was.
She had only eaten a bowl of Cornflakes, a salad & an apple all day yet her sugar level was 24.7?!
She is now concerned that something is wrong. Would anybody be able to help clear this up please?

Agree with the others, see a doctor asap or at least ring A&E and get their advice, 24.7 is way too high.

Yes it's old money. She says her vision has been blurry on & off & that just recently she urinates more & has been thirsty too.
I've told her to get checked out as it sounds like diabetes to me & thankfully she's getting an appointment at her docs but I wanted to get the opinion of some other diabetics. Thanks
