I hope it's more successful than the Glucowatch which was available as far back as 2004. As important as clinical trials are, two years?

My accu check mobile ones were £50 for 2 lots of 50. I was shocked at the price but my dn prescribed it so assume it's allowed in my area.

Wonder how you volunteer to be a guinea pig for it?

Well, not sure where you're based but in the UK, the test strip bill is huge.

there are also rumours of Apple developing this technology after employing a gamg of experts from another CGM developer that went to the wall in the US.

I emailed them. And got the following reply...

Thanks for your email.

Our glucose monitor is currently in the mandatory testing stages required before it can be released to the European market. We hope to have this testing completed in 2016 with release to market 2017-2018 when we have achieved CE marking. We will update our website with more information as we get closer to completing these requirements. This will then be followed up by achieving the required product certifications in other regions. Until then, the monitor is not available to buy.
