Normal levels but shaky

Hi guys. I've had normal levels today. Currently at 7. But all day I've had an elevated heart rate and have felt very shaky. My hands are shaking and have been for hours. Very similar to hypo symptoms. Anyone else get this? Can I get symptoms even at normal levels?

If your levels have been running high previously it is possible for you to feel hypo symptoms as your body adjusts to more normal levels.

It could be that it's not diabetes related though and as you have an elevated heart rate, i would err on the side of caution and seek medical advice.

Hi
I agree with claire unless you had high sugars before you may get hypo symptoms, but i think as you have had a racing heart beat call your out of hours doctor, you can get the number off your own GP phone number.
Are you on any other meds, that you have recently been prescribed , if so look at the side effects of them.
This is only by my own experience recently, i am not a doctor.
Hope all goes well and keep in touch just to let us know if you are ok.
Take care
Tracey

I'm starting to feel better so I'll hold off phoning the emergency services ;) yeah strange one really, my sugars have been normal for about a week. But the symptoms felt similar to the sensations of a hypo. Wierd. Not on any meds, just insulin. Thanks for your support - will keep you posted if it happens again. Was just wondering if anyone had any similar experience.

hya,
if it happens again for no reason see your g.p as a racing heart beat can be many many things, i have that feeling some times and im sure im hypo, when checking im not and as already said many things can cause it :)
