Not a newbie but back after a few years

Hi!

All of my testing kit is out of date!!!

But I've used it anyway and got a reading of 7.6 and I now weigh 107kg which isn't good so I've gone very low carb again. I feel like I've forgotten loads of information.

I've lost my conversion chart. I'm not sure what 7.6 is as a measurement on the Accu-Chek Aviva Nano.

However, I intend to get my tight control back quickly....

Is 7.6 a normal blood sugar on the meter?

Random readings just give a snapshot of your sugar levels, without knowing when you last ate, what you had and what your level was before you had it it's impossible to know if your 7.6 is a decent reading or not. More importantly though you need to get new strips for your meter. You can't trust a reading using out of date strips, you might as well look in the bottom of your tea cup and read the leaves, it would be just as accurate.
