I was only diagnosed in March but doc cannot decide if I am type 1 or 2 and my last letter states "probable type 1".
Hope no one is eating whilst reading this but I wanna talk feet!
I have got an an appointment for a foot inspection. I suppose that means I will have to take my annual bath (That's a joke by the way...or perhaps not
)
This is where you might need a strong stomach. For a couple of years I had a verruca which I have tried to treat myself and even tried the freezing treatments to no avail. This verruca seems to have a secret lover and has over recent months given birth to lots of little babies that have all decided to make home in a huddle on my right heel. I understand that verruca experts call this a mosaic, but it doesn't look like the kind you find in Roman baths...yuk.
Anyway, this mosaic has turned into the foot equivalent of benefit cheats and seem to want a permanent free ride at my foot's expense. And they cause so much pain when I walk.
To get to the point, I assume I am now barred from amateur tinkering with my tootsies but will the NHS podiatrist have any interest in trying to evict these freeloaders for me or will I have to go private.?
