Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining , more confused. The last two weeks my blood sugars have not exceeded 5.3 mmol (only once hit 5.3 mmol) , in fact I am averaging around 4.6. I'm not hypoing so I have nothing to worry about. I cycle to work around 30 miles a day , but have for the last 6 months. Two to three weeks ago I couldn't get below 5.5. Only change is the weather getting cooler , I'm eating the same (in fact slightly more) low carb delights and exercise the same. I'm having to gradually reduce my basal and only need 1 shot of bolus in the morning. All very strange. Surely the weather cannot have such a (positive) effect ?

Hi Cblake I just wanted to say hello, but not sure why about the cooler weather affecting BS. I know hot weather affects lots of diabetics with hypo's.Maybe your body have reached it's 'cut off point' like people losing weight for months and months and then hardly any, but your BS levels are excellent, well done:D I like cycling too but only short distances, as I wont go on the road and I have a dodgy eye.

Best wishes RRB :)
