To much to say.
I am having a bit of trouble with food,I don't think I am having enough calories, can someone tell me please what's the best snacks to have as am ok for breakfast and dinners,I have no teeth so can't eat nuts or celery, thank you...

A philly wrap - basically ham with philly spread on and rolled up. Boiled eggs with mayo, I like them fresh boiled chopped up in a cup with butter salt and pepper.

Thank you Dawnmc, can I use jar mayo. And I thought we not allowed wraps.
I think Dawn is suggesting you wrap whatever you are wrapping up (Philly, pate or whatever) in a lettuce leaf. That's a ver low carb wrap.

I understand jay mayo is fine, provided it isn't mayo "lite" or low fat. Full mayo only. For me, that means Hellmans only, but that's my preference only, unless I make my own, which tends to have enough garlic in it to keep vampires at bay. :p

Spread philly on ham and roll it up. Lettuce makes a good wrap too, in fact spread philly on ham and roll both up in some nice crisp lettuce.

Oh ok lol,I got it now,ok thank you...And breath, how do you make your own mayo,I love mayo

I saw a recipe recently for mayo, where the oil was made up of half nut oil and half melted butter. Haven't tried it yet, but thought it sounded rather nice.

This tells you how:

Personally, I use a blender, so I put everything, apart from the oil in the blender and whizz until well mixed, then slowly, slowly add the oil through the opening in the lid (covering the hole when not adding oil). Just add until you get the consistency you like.

I would use half of this recipe, or even a quarter, unless you want to refrigerate it for another time. I wouldn't fridge it for too long though.

It's easy.

How many calories do you think you are eating during a normal day?

If you post what you normally eat we would have a much better idea.

You could also look up 'fat bombs' if you want no carb calories :-)

Don't forget with calories you have to take in to account your lifestyle... Sedentary or active....

Thank you everyone...I tend to eat the same every day, eggs for breakfast, sometimes I skip breakfast as I never was a morning person to eat,it's just the snacks I got stuck on because without any teeth,it's really hard to eat crunchy things, but I have just gone and bought some pate,Philly cheese and soft round lettuce to make little wraps,I am on the look out for healthy peanut butter smoothi eat veg every night with fish or meat,I just have to look at the recipe site to learn more on what I can eat,I have some almond flour,so maybe I can make something out of that to spread my pate and cheese on...

Saw these on another site

Scones

6 oz ground almonds sieved
1 1/2oz butter
3/4 teasp baking powder
pinch salt
Usual mix I would say, rubbing the ingredients together then add an egg, mix with a knife. If its a loose mix just pat it out or roll it into a sausage then cut slices, bake on parchment paper at 190 for 15/20 mins. Allow to cool then slather on some butter with pate.

They were so yummy,I just rolled out the mixture like a sausage, then sliced it up into circles, once cooked I put some butter and pâté on,maybe next time I can make a big one and put blueberries in it,then have it with cream.
