Not long to get my pump

After being recommended for a pump by my consultant today I was at the hospital to find out what the steps are.
They need 6 people before they start a group off with them. Hopefully another 4 people will be put up for one as only 2 of us there this morning. They say it should be before Xmas.
I'll be on the accu check pump as that's all my hospital do but reading what people say about it on here it's a good one.
It sounds like its gonna be a bit of learning curve but I'm so looking forward to getting on a pump can't wait felt like a kid waiting for Xmas lol

That's great news! I have my assessment in September so hope to start before Xmas too. I spoke to my DSN yesterday and all looks positive!

It looks like Accu chek will be launching a new pump sometime next year so do enquire as to whether they will upgrade you to the new pump or leave you with the old one until the warranty runs out.

Thanks Kat will post back in here when I hear more news its just a case of waiting now till I hear.

Thanks for the heads up on the new accu check pump. Is there gonna be much difference/ new features will ask but I bet it will be a use that pump or wait till new one out
