Hello everyone.

I'm back. After six years of walking the roads and hills of Ireland. Just could not keep my BS levels below 8 - usually 9 or more. I have been put on Metformin (2 X 500 per day) from last week. My levels at different times during the week have been between 5.8 and 6.8. I'm delighted.

My concern is, are these changes something everyone gets at the start and they then creep up? Also, can I still do my walks (six miles) while on these tablets. Dr was vague.

Anyway.
I'm glad to be back among friends.
