Not sure if I can have Kentucky fried chicken or battered fish when out with friends I don't have chips or fries not sure if I'm OK with these. Also can I have none alcoholic drinks suck as Beck's Blue Larger or another one named Bitsburger. Can any one advise on these please? Squeeky Steve

Questions like those one cannot answer as reactions vary from person to person. It's impossible to predict ... almost like the carbs in a chip.

Battered fish soaked in vinegar is one suggestion I have read about without chips.

This is the learning curve for all newbies. Eat and test. You'll soon know one way or the other. Then tweak and test if you wish and try again.

Non alcoholic beer does "suck" in respect of the carb count & no reward of an alcohol buzz..

Have you thought about something more refreshing like carbonated water with a twist of lemon..?

My testing tells me I'm better eating a few chips than batter. Flour is my personal enemy, not potato. Test and you will know.
