I have been a naughty boy!
In July last year (2018) my doctor TRIED to put me on Metformin. I got the first lot but never took them. Instead I started looking more closley at my diet and excercise. Over time both my diet and excercise slipped. Weight has gone down and back up. At a recent pre-op appointmemt i was told my BP was high and I needed to go straight to my GP to get it checked.
With no GP available I had it checked and received a mild telling off for not keeping up my reveiws and was sent for the obligatory blood test.
Yesterday I had my reveiw. Having received a letter the previous day asking me to make an appointment to discuss the results with a doctor I met the nurse with trepidation.
In July 2018 my Hba1c was 52. Yesterday it was 44.
Still going to see the doctor but I am so happy. Just wish could get my head around what has happenned.
