Not sure where I went wrong tonight..

You might like to know that Tesco stock a bag of ready grated cheese that has fried onions added to it. Saves frying the onions:)

No way! there's a lot of satisfaction frying onions...

Is it sugared? the "tinned stuff"? i haven't eaten tinned sweetcorn in years.. In fact i cant even remember the last time...
I have eaten it off the cobb soaked in butter..!

Don't have it in the cupboard anymore so unable to check but it certainly tastes sweetened. Bird's Eye corn is lovely and works out cheaper too

Birds eye stuff is normally just frozen regarding retaining the food stuff integrity.. But tinned is quite often flavoured & preserved with sugar..?
Thinking back the last time i had tinned sweetcorn was as a student. over 25 years ago..

This place is turning into a Foodies paradise what with chocolate tea bags, kale chips and now cauli/broc cheese. What next?

I didn't get round to buying any Kale or choc tea bags, it's on my to do list for tomorrow lol :)

What next?... I'm a big fan of pepperoni chips!... People must try them if they haven't already! :)

I'm off to buy choc tea bags and cauliflower tomorrow. I've already made the cheese sauce in anticipation of cauli cheese tomorrow night. Heaven on a plate. :) I think I might give the pepperoni chips a miss though, I'm not a great fan.

Oh pepperoni chips are to die for, it's things like them that make me very happy to eat low carb :)

I had that problem with cauliflower cheese recently but since I didn't eat any corn with it, it can't have been the corn. I came to the conclusion that the cornflour I used to make the sauce was a very bad choice indeed! Next time I'm using wholemeal..... Did you cook it yourself or did you buy it ready-made?
