For the last three days I have been struggling to keep my BG levels in range. No matter how much I corrected with my bolus . I put it down to me being off work and less active as usual.
But today I woke up feeling really unwell, sore throat , loss of appetite etc and a BG reading of 10.3.
Could my highs the last two days been my body knowing I was unwell? I did feel rundown (but generally do at the end of a work week).
Do I just keep testing and correcting? Yesterday it felt like no matter how much insulin I gave my bloods would sometimes go higher rather than lower *confused*
Do I need to increase my basal dose too?
Really don’t want another day like yesterday. I was in the teens for most of the day.
I tested for ketones this morning - a reading of 0.3.
