I just w ondered how fast novarapid works .I had bs of 17.0 when i got up i had 2 weetabix with sweetener for breakfast this was at 9.15this morning.I injected 10units of novarapid 2 hours later my bs was 22.5.I am feeling poorly with a chest infection and do not know if this is effecting my bs any help would be apreciated

Infections do effect your bs so it will be more unstable. Novorapid works more or less in 10 mins and can last up to 4 hours
