I am travelling to the USA shortly i take NovoMix 30 penfill, please can any one tell me can i purchase this in America or does it go under a different name. Thank You

Its is unclear after a Google search but I would assume its the same name.......

will you not have sufficient, extra stock with you and will there not be some kind of insurance set up for you........

Thank you for your reply nonorapidboi26 yes i have taken out travel Insurance and i am also taking enough insulin to cover my vacation, but i was still checking just incase of any unseen problems, thanks for checking for me though, i like you have tried to do a Google search but can not come up with any clear answers, thanks once again from Happy Face.

I think any insulin that has the 70:30 split, which I believe the Novomix is, then you will be fine...

If you do run in to trouble, I'm sure any pharmacist over in the states would be happy to help you out. You may need to consider budgeting a little extra just in case something does go wrong and you need to buy insulin or pay any medical fees.

Send an email to the American Diabetes Association, they'll soon tell you if it's available over there and how much it would cost to purchase.
