Hello everyone,

I currently have Libre 2 and Novopen Echo on prescription but would love to change these to Dexcom One and the Novopen 6.

Does anyone know if this is possible and how I can arrange it? I don't have an appointment with my Diabetes team for nearly a year, would my GP be able to help?

Thanks for any information!

My surgery DN signs off a new pen if needed; it's standard prescription item. Do you have any contact with her? The Dexcom is a lot more expensive than the Libre so may not be easy to get it changed.

DexCom One is the new cheaper Dexcom with reduced functionality (a comparison with the G6 is available here) they bought out to compete with Libre. It is not "a lot more expensive": the 3 month starter pack is £299.
