BINGO!!! the Tesco not too far away sells the one with spring water (not brine) so that a go-er. Many thanks. And thanks to @bulkbiker to for providing a back up plan.Is it fair to assume you have been into your local supermarket, with a view to clearing their stock?
Alternatively, would purchasing the in water/brine option, draining it, then adding some olive oil work for you?
Finally, perhaps email John West, as even Amazon don't have any available, sl there's clearly something afoot. Their own site's link has a money off coupon, so I thought I'd post the link, should you be able to source it: https://www.john-west.co.uk/no-drain-tuna-steak-with-a-little-olive-oil/
It's so annoying when a favourite goes awol.
Thank you. they are out of my price range : (Not steaks but two tuna in olive oil options at Tesco.com

?????
one tin, one tin of tuna a week? and what sized tin?
ermmm...............no. The jury is out, the research isnt conclusive, and one would have to eat loads and heat things up in their tins to do any harm.the recommendation is really to avoid tin canned foods, especially because of the bisphenol A on the inside coating which is a hormone disturbing substance... of cause this is worse for women who are born with their eggs and over time can pollute their eggs before having the number of children they want, as I have read around 1 in 10 of newborn boys have problems with their genitialias...
It puts a heavier burden on women to stay as unpolluted as possible until they have had the children they might want
a man that every day reproduce totally new sperm is not as much in the risk zone besides the feminization of his body with a tendency toward storing much more fat because of more oestrogenlike substances in his body..
