hi ive been a diabetic for 20 odd years and just found out that alot of things have changed.now got appointments to see about carb diets and the new insulins available to me.

I've had Type 1 for 20+ years too. I've had an insulin pump for a number of years now, but have also been on MDI and twice daily injections.
 
Hey @excalibur Things have changed a lot in 20 odd years. I'm 28 years into it, and the cutting edge has moved a long way, even to automated insulin delivery systems that monitor your blood glucose and will provide insulin accordingly. Welcome to the forum...
