Numb arms, weird feeling arms.

Hello... I newly diagnosed type1 taking insulin. My biceps/arms feel kind of numb/achy and my hands are a bit tight and stiff feeling. It sort of feels like poor circulation... Any thoughts or similar experience of this?

How are you feeling overall?

How long since diagnosis and what is your HbA1c?

I felt absolutely terrible pre-diagnosis, but strangely the best I've ever felt was shortly after getting the insulin treatment. I was a long while until I was back up and running and I did feel a bit achy for a while but it wasn't localised to my arms and hands.

The doctors did not explain your HbA1c result to you and a target you should be working towards?

What insulin(s) are you taking and how are your blood sugars?
