Type 2 Numb lips.

can anyone help me please.
Over the last few days my lips are tingly and numb. I'm on the LCHF and
have been since Feb. My Hb1ac levels have reduced from 66 to 38. I on
1 metformin tablet, but I'm wondering if my sugar levels are to low?
I only say this as I went into hospital recently and the nurse did my bloods
and she said it was 5.2 ( I hadn't eaten ) then later after my op and I'd had something to
Eat she retested again and my levels went to 7.1 she said not to have my metformin that day.

Do you have any other symptoms that seem to have started around the same time or developed over the last 2 days? I think this problem might be one for your doctor.

I've learned from experience that Metformin should always be stopped the day before surgery, if possible, as it can make fasting-induced low BG even lower. Unless your BG was under 4, there was probably nothing to worry about in terms of it being too low. They can always put you on a glucose drip if it is too low.
 
Not yet. Dry lips, yes. Numb feet, yes. Numb (cold) hands, yes. If you're worried I would advise a word with your GP. I put my various numbnesses/coldnesses down to old age, poor circulation, the weather and the tree fairies. It means I worry less when I'm fairly sure medical science isn't going to spring to my aid.
NB My numb feet aren't due to diabetes because they're numb in the wrong place, apparently. I always pass the little rubber spike test.
