A few years ago I had great control - always in the 6's with low carb eating. To cut a long story short I fell off the wagon. Had my hbA1c on 6th February and was shocked to see it was 64 - about 10.1 despite being on sitagliptin and pioglitazone. Came home from GP appointment a week later and decided to get back on the wagon - and back on here. Eight weeks from the last test I am now at 56. I can't find where I converted it before - all the numbers/measurements confuse me. Can someone help (in laymans terms lol).
The test on 6th February was showing signs of fatty liver disease - last test showed it was normal. Think I'm doing well thanks to low carb. I don't post much - I have depression and the effort is too much sometimes but I do a lot of reading and have found much encouragement here. Thanks to all who do post.
