Type of diabetes
Type 1
Treatment type
Insulin
What are your blood sugar levels? If they've been high for a while it could be causing complications, have you mentioned this numbness to your dr?

Could be any of a myriad of reasons, many of which are nothing to do with Diabetes. Discuss this with your GP at the earliest opportunity for a definitive diagnosis.

I wouldn't be inclined to call any Dr who ignores questions you ask as good.........he/she is supposed to look after your health, part of which is explaining and investigating things. The condition you mention could be down to an injury or problem with any drugs you are taking and nothing at all to do with Diabetes so should be investigated properly and promptly.

I would get a second opinion from another Dr or ask to be referred to a Specialist. I wouldn't take no for an answer either.....but that's just me !
