NutriBullit question

I have just purchased a nutri bullit blender, was looking at them before i was Diagnosed last week, in the book is a few recipes for diabetics, but has anybody got any do's or don'ts with this type of machine?
and any recipe recommendations would be greatly recieved.

One thing to remember about blenders is that because they blend the food , they are breaking up the structure of the food and will m,ake the sugars and other nutrients more easily acessible, hence if the fruit/veg is higher in carbs then they will be made availible more quicly hence a possibility of BG spikes! Compare orange juice an orange!
