Did anyone watch the hiding New Zealand gave England in the Cricket ?

NOPE Graeme Smith is not playing anymore :)
But we are fielding one of the best sides I've seen in years, I think we could even win if Amla produces as he can at times
But we watch and ill take the Klap (Smack), Or give it ?:)
 
Yep, they are a VERY good side ..... bat deep and bowl well. We'd need to be really playing at our best (particularly top order) to knock them off.

Still, all hypothetical ... we gotta get there first :)
 
England are doing quite nicely in the rugby Six Nations thank you

I did say "IMO" .... but yes SA will be hard as well. :) REALLY hard

The only reason I nominated AUS / NZ is because the tournament is on our pitches and most other countries will not cope with it ..... but SA conditions aren't that much different. To he honest, it could be SA / NZ or SA and some other country

To be honest i don't really care about anything other than tests and even then I'm selective. World Cup? Couldn't care less. Hate the short game ....

Hate rugby (emphasize HATE as it is foreign to Victorians) but I do have similar sentiments. We're all parochial. My interest in ANY international sport is limited to summer Olympics and cricket .... beyond that I could not care less :)

Tend to agree, but the short game is exciting and brings in the crowds,
I think our team this year is possibly the best selection we have had for a long time, as it is picked on merit and not colour to a great extent.
If we have ever had a good chance its this cup, but we see what happens
All the best, ill be watching were I can,even if I have to get up at Midnight !!
 
I am always reluctant to discuss cricket in relation to the England team. A few years back (must have been about 7 or 8 years ago) we had a family holiday in Aus, over Christmas. We had an absolutely brilliant time but there was an Ashes tour on at the same time and England weren't exactly excelling themselves, which occasioned outbursts of hilarity from everyone who heard my accent. This was OK (just about) until the day when someone approached me at Uluru (Ayers Rock) and said "So tell me, mate, is it true that you Poms invented cricket, or is it just an ugly rumour"? :D
 
Hopefully england put on a better performance against Scotland because if not its curtains for them!
