The first Endo I saw told me he didn’t think we’d ever get to the bottom of why I felt to utterly frozen all the time - even in tropical climes. To be as fair and even handed as i can begrudgingly be, my TSH was still in range at that point, so he was just sort of “Nothing to do with me, Guv.”That's very interesting, ty. I have a very rare adrenal condition - isolated ACTH deficiency - and something similar happens with people like me. Docs will keep testing the thyroid hormones but in us they will give a false reading. Endocrinology must be one of the hardest things to understand!

Second guy, much more engaged, and still is, although if he tells me how many patients in our county are prescribed T3 (I am), I might just burst. (It is shockingly few.)
