People whose attitude says "Me, my opinion, my desire is greater and more important than anyone else"

And to whom the principle of ahimsa is a closed book that they refuse to open because it would make life more difficult for them.
So here I am, just done the basal injection and about to swig the tablets for the other medical conditions when husband pipes up,

"I thought you did the red pen for basal....."
"I do, I just did - did you not see me?"
"That was a green pen".
"I think I need some jammy toast ....."

This was a new one for me; I've injected basal instead of bolus at times but never this way round before! I don't know whether to be cross with myself or laugh at my absent mindedness.

Conclusion: I really should drink more coffee before trying to do sensible things :)

Oops!! Thankfully I’ve only ever done it the other way round.

I say make the most of it and have something super delicious when you need to “fix” it!!

Do test more often though to be sure you know when it kicks in...

I did that one evening. We had a pack of 4 toffee crisp bars in the cupboard - binge eating time!!

I did the same last year while camping. Woke up at 4am with 2 paramedics stood over me, in a pool of sweat. Scared my fiancee to death. Hopefully wont do that again
Keep a close eye on your bloods AND don't forget to basal as well :D
