Oh for goodness sake!

Never had a deep fried mars bar but have had a deep fried pizza, interesting is a good word to describe it, I think I looked and examined it for longer than it would have taken just to eat it, the dog enjoyed it.
The best thing in the world is a deep fried egg, it is a ball of molten yolky crispness

Dogs have no hang ups.
They don't have guru's, they only have really good noses.

People still have newspapers delivered? This is the thing that surprises me about this story.
Yep, trust me.. Kids out delivering at the "crack of dawn" while I'm out with the dog before work.. Respect to em...!

Though the fact one can pick up a tablet these days & peruse the news must be slowly killing them off...?! ;)

Guru's?
It's what dogs should smell of, human's are wrong, the establishment bath is evil?
Nah, we just use too many "designer chemicals".. So much emphasis on smelling nice. It's unnatural & quite frankly offensive..
I can smell rose petal, lavender moose blossom coming a mile away on some peeps....

@Administrator Whats happened to the Edit button? Wanted to correct a minor typo.
Also note that the Delete and Report buttons are also missing.
The edit report and cancel buttons have been hidden under the Tools button. It makes sense in one way, but is possibly not as intuitive as it used to be. Newbies will be confused. Oldvarties also confused
@Administrator Problem resolved, but not entirely happy with this change.

It's been like that for ages @Oldvatr perhaps your grammar is normally exemplary and never needs editing?
p.s this post has just been edited to remove grammatical errors :)

My lovely guy has started a paper round ( makes me smile when I say that lol) He gets there for 5.30 am and delivers the papers far and wide, some houses are remote, so has to travel by car and the money is quite good.

Nope. It is a recent change to my setup. Robinredbreast reports no change yet, so this is still a transit situation. But i have found where they are hiding, so can still make and break bloopers.

That's actually one thing I never tried.
I would have done, but it was reportedly 1995 when it was invented in Aberdeen,
Actually the dish is said to have been created in 1995 in the Haven Chip Bar (now the Carron) in Stonehaven (a place where at Hogmanay, they swing their burning balls round their heads and fling them into the harbour!( the fireball festival))

I'm sure they're be arguing forever, but what's in a few miles?

today the Daily Express was delivered in error.

May I suggest that you ask for compensation.

I am appalled at the headlines that this comic (I've read more accurate comics) puts on it's front page. You might like to check everything the paper quotes. The compensation is to pay for the time you'd have to waste checking out anything printed. Should be a law against it.

Well I have a report button but no tools button so where is that

Now the report edit and delete buttons have appeared again...weird
You will only get the Edit and Delete buttons under a post you originated. On my screen now I have a tools icon next to the Reply button. it has three submenu items when i look at one of my postings, but only the Report button if I look at yours.
The problem i have is that the submenus only appear as i hover the mouse, so i find it disappears while I make my selection if my cursor moves near the side of the box. This is difficult when using the inbuilt cursor controls on my laptop.

I am normally a reader of "I" newspaper, however, today the Daily Express was delivered in error. This undernoted quote is taken from an article titled Diabetes costs soar as illness takes its toll :-
" We know there are issues with alcohol consumption, bad diet and a lack of exercise, and all of these things can culminate in the diagnosis of diabetes" then later on in the same article:-
"But by encouraging personal responsibility in terms of diet and lifestyle, and putting more effort into education these figures would soon come down"

This from Donald Cameron, the Scottish shadow health secretary. Makes me proud to be Scottish!

Well, there's me - became diabetic through eating 'properly', exercising and only drinking very occasionally. It's all my own fault; or, of course, it could just be because I don't produce enough insulin. By the way, this being the Express was there a soaring house prices, Diana or other story?

Tell that to someone who was diagnosed T1 aged 2 and 9 months, like me. Hmm, bad diet diet, lifestyle, alcohol or... an auto-immune mistaken response? I wonder... I usually write to the editor pointing out factual errors or misleading language if I see something like this.

The problem is that these journalists associate those things with Cause of Condition, which is not a proven thing at all. If they had linked lifestyle changes to relieving the condition, then we might applaud them instead of reviling them. But that message is lost in translation.
