Oh wow i have just been asked to be a god parent...

My oldest school friend has asked me to be god parent to her baby girl! She came around my house today at 2pm, She had little tracie here at 2.10pm, She had her baby here! I had to deliver her!
Oh bless she was beautiful! A beautiful little girl, she said that she thought she was in labour but she was unsure!
She said her name is to be, Tracie Sandy, Oh I could not believe it, she said can I use your name as her middle name and will you be a godparent!
Of course i said yes! Oh i can't believe it! I thought i was due to go to the dentist at 3pm, I went and good news abcess has gone! I have to go back in july for check up and keep a eye on the healing of the tooth!
Oh wow i am so amazed, I feel so proud right now! I am so happy, my fiancee says i am walking around with a big smile on my face!

Oh i am smilling! Thats the thing because my friends always want my help i am there for the high times as well as the low times!
Just can't believe it she came around and asked me, then she was off! She said that she knew i would know what to do!
I thought yes and no! But i did in the end! I now have 12 god children, But little tracie is the most special! Even though they are treated the same! She is the only one i have delivered!
My friends say that because i can't have my own children then i can be godparent to their children! Oh wow! I am off now crying! It was so special!

Big one, but hey that i can live with! She was a big baby, just had a phone call from her dad, she weighed 8lbs 7ozs! He said thank you for delivering my baby! I said no problems, I got the first hug! He said yes and you are a good friend, Oh that was it i was off in tears yet again!

I love babies - I'm a compulsive baby cuddler & lullaby singer - but I'm still waiting for my first cuddle of Joshua, born May 7th, as he lives 125 miles away & I've had shingles.

Just realised I misread this post yesterday - I missed the bit about you delivering the baby!!! I thought it was so lovely for your friend to ask you to be godparent but I obviously glossed over the other bit!! Sorry - should have written this yesterday!

How are you doing today? Very sunny weekend forecast - how will you deal with that - plenty of sun cream, hat and plenty of water. 8)

Oh I am so happy today, Just goes to show, I had pizza last night, 2 slices with a tiny portion of chips and salad! Thing is because of the heat my blood test went up to 7.2 and that seemed okay to me! Woken up this morning, Blood sugar because of the heat 4.2! Very thirsty can't drink enough water!
Going to visit my friend later as have bought a teddy bear and a card! I have had a shirt put her name on it! with a little star!
I don't know how i am going to cope with this heat have ever window in the house open and both door's! it is burning hot here! Real hot!
I have to wear factor 30 and above sun cream! I will wear my sunglasses and a hat! It is really hot in house!
