I had an omlette last night for the first time in about ten years and it was Scrummy :D :D :D
Can see me eating a lot more of them

Since becoming diabetic, I now eat around a dozen egg's a week. Great filling food without raising blood sugars.

I love a good cheesy omelette!

A favourite of mine is salmon and spinach with a splodge of crème fraice on after it has been cooked

Eggs however they come, when it comes to omelettes it has to be with cheese and bacon :)

Have an Egg.
They're packed with all the vitamins except C.
A superfood to be honest, and good for fertility too:grin:

Poached eggs on toasted wholemeal doorsteps (from an uncut loaf) with lashings of malt vinegar Mmmmmmm

flaxseed, 2 eggs. cinamon. chopped nuts.makes a lovely omlette. chopped rasperries or strawberries. with creme fresh. lush and very filling. can add sweetener to your omlette.

Sam, t'is true! I basically have this with a small amount of buckwheat flour mixed in every morning for breakfast - yum!

Well I'll have to have a go for brekkie tomorrow then, I've got all the ingredients. I'll remain sceptical until then!

Sam this is what I have:

I halve the amounts (cept the egg, obvs, just use one) and I use almond milk - though you could probably use any... Plus I add a teaspoon of cinnamon powder for good measure :-)

Makes two, very thick pancakes... Yummy! :-)

Slight variation, I love scrambled egg. No added milk. Just a small nob of butter, with 20g of flaked smoked mackerel fillet stirred in at the end.

Mmmmm that's exactly how I cook my scrambled egg, minus the mackerel  - I just replace that with fresh chives though. Yummmm
