I doubt theres an answer except use an additional dressing to hold it in place, but here goes anyway.

I'm using dash, but finding the pods vulnerable and easy to dislodge, I like to vary the site as much as possible . The most secure place is the front of my thigh, but I suffer from an inconsistent insulin delivery in this position, maybe its because I do a lot of walking.

Back of arm is good but cluttered (libre) and easy to knock, stomach vulnerable plus perspiration affects adhesive. Back is uncomfortable at night.

Where do you find the best place for yours?
Eta if you use an additional dressing which one?

Pods don't come off of me very easy...... unless I knock them against something. I prefer my stomach, but I am having more issues with site failures so have been moving them all over the place. I save my arms for my Dexcom. Now the Dexcom I have to use Skin Tac to keep them on more than a couple of days. I like to restart them too so I also use their overpatch with more Skin Tac and that works to keep them on extended time.

I love my legs for my pods, but my legs are where I knock them against things. So I use Skin Tac on them. That seems to work well, although a good knock against a door frame etc probably would still loosen it. But the outside of the thighs moved towards the middle a little works. I lay on my sides so they need to be a little off sides for comfort. Inside towards the front also works, plus the calves, just under the knee works. The Insulet educator rep actually recommended I experiment with other areas when we discussed the failures I was having on the stomach. If you watch some videos by various people, people put them all over. the place.

I have more failures when I place them on my abdomen, where I used them successfully for years than the other places I keep trying them on. The only one I didn't like as it didn't work well, but I've only tried it once, was my love handles towards my back. But I will probably try it again at some point.

There are patches like grif grips that come in different adhesive strengths if needed, they have really cute ones or plain if you like it. Plus Insulet has patches they sell. But Skin Tac works for me and a bottle goes a long ways!

i sometimes use my upper chest...pods do stick well for me and this area is out of the way and doesn't get knocked and absorption for me is good
i also do'nt really use thigh much as i am not that happy with absorption there.

@Richard F All you can do is try them. They only have a couple of reviews, but they are good reviews. There are a ton of different patches on Amazon that have a lot of reviews, but I don't recognize most of them..
