Omnipod not sticking!!

Ring up the company and complain and say you expect replacements (if daughter isn't inadvertently causing the problem) Is your daughter using body lotion or talc on her body before she places the pod?

Hello,
Please see the uploaded file. I got this information from their website...Myomnipod.com. Page 2 has lots of ideas.
Skintac is good. My son uses Hypafix tapes (2.5cmX10m) on the pod....you can use two tapes crossing over the pod. You can get these from Amazon. these seem to be using the same adhesive as the pod itself.
While playing sports, my son also wears thermals(underarmour), which helps keep the pod intact.

Bath oils/bubble baths that might effect the adhesive?

I've been on the Omnipod for the last 7 months and not had this issue, it might be you have a faulty batch of pods so I'd contact the Ypsomed helpline (the number is on the back of the PDM) and speak with them and they'll send out replacements.

Thanks for your advice. Had a look through the attachment and the things it says help are a little expensive. We been on the pump nearly a year and havnt had this issue before

As noblehead and carbsrock have pointed out, it could also be a faulty batch!
The Hypafix tape is pretty reasonable on Amazon and lasts a while...you get a 10m roll for £5 and you only need to cut two small strips each time you apply the pod. The adhesive lasts till the next pod change.
Also, I forgot to mention that my son avoids wearing it on his abdomen/arms as the pod does not seem to stick well on these sites. He has never had an issue on other sites like back, bum or legs. May be try a different site and see if that helps.

Mine stick fine but on the arms you can feel a slight pull on the skin if you are particularly active, although you can buy the Bands4Life I just use a cheap tubular bandage from the pound shops, keeps the pod in place and secure to the skin.

On my arm and leg, never had an issue. On my stomach, I use off the shelf surgical tape. Although these ones sound faulty, my diabetes specialist said to use fragrance free antiperspirant if I thought they were not sticking well.

I use a small amount of Cavilon cream on my skin prior to applying the pod (this is available on prescription) and I find this works very well, I haven't had any problems with loose pods since I started using this. It sticks the pod very firmly, removal is much easier after a bath or shower. Hope this helps
