Hello, do you mind me asking is the omnipod good? I currently inject and carb count, should i push for omnipod with my gp? Thanks in advance

It's a great pump, but to get funding for the pump you would need to fit the NICE criteria or come under one or more of the ABCD recommendations, here is some info to read about pump funding:

Are you being seen by the diabetic team at the hospital? I don't think you can get a pump via a GP (I could be wrong) - it would need to be from a consultant endocrinologist.
So first step would be get a referral to the diabetic clinic. Then you can get a bit more information on whether you meet the criteria, what pumps are available through the hospital and whether there is anything else you need to do to be eligible for a pump (complete a DAFNE course etc).
