Hi!

I'm an Omnipod user and have been for over four years now and I was wondering how long people's handsets have lasted for. They only have a certain life before they go kaput and you need a new one and I wanted to try and gauge how long other people's have lasted.

Mine lasted for nearly two and a half years. I think the one I've got may be getting close to two years old too.

Any responses would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Not sure about the life-expectancy of the PDM but they only come with a 4 year warranty (as all pumps do I believe) after which they'll be no back-up and support from Ypsomed.

My PDM is two and half years old and not had any issues with it to date, I was given a skin for it not long after going on the pump and this has helped to protect it from all the knocks and bumps.
