On the pump....planning a baby..advice

Oh that is a shame I am sure the midwives are still very good. I hope!!!!!

Do you have to go to diabetic aswell as pregnancy things??

thanks for the info

75% of the midwives were good... im not so sure if it was a good thing or not the 2nd time round I was remembered by 1 of them... ;)

The appointments were always on a tuesday morning (be VERY prepared - you will be told you have an appointment at 9am BUT they do not follow this... its 1st come 1st served kinda thing and many a time my appointments could last up to 2hours+). YES every appointment I saw a midwife who did all the baby checks, sometimes saw a doc (who usually tells you your sugars are running too high) THEN its 1 of the diabetic team, usually it would be Sandra (sometimes with dietician), then every few appointments it would be Dr Whitelaw or 1 of his team (who usually commented on the other doctor not knowing that much so not to pay attention when they talk diabetes - he's also good during pregnancy) :)

my first pregnancy I think I went every 2 weeks throughout but 2nd pregnancy it fluctuated between 2 weeks and 3weeks
